Cutouts and finishing

What we machine into a panel

  • Pass-through windows

Cut into counter shields, sized for papers, payments or trays.

  • Cord and cable notches

Along the bottom edge, for cords, cables and monitor arms.

  • Mounting holes

Drilled to match a guard frame, hinge, bracket or desk clamp.

  • Slots for feet and brackets

Cut to take the feet or brackets a freestanding barrier stands in.

  • Radiused corners

Rounded corners on panels people walk past and handle.

  • Finished edges

Smooth, clean edges, with no rough saw cut left behind.

Plastics for clear barriers

Common choices

  • Polycarbonate

Very tough and hard to crack. For machine guards, busy counters and panels that get knocked.

    Polycarbonate page
  • Acrylic

The clearer of the two, and lower in cost. For desks, breakrooms and conference tables.

    Acrylic page

For panels that are wiped down often, we also machine scratch-resistant coated sheet.
