Custom Plastic Design Assistance & Prototyping Services

CDS Plastics, Inc. offers a unique service to maintenance professionals to design and produce replacement plastic parts for MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations). We can duplicate existing plastic or metal parts from samples for new plastic parts. Brand new samples are preferred, but we can also work from a worn sample or CAD drawing. If no drawings exist for a sample, we can generate new CAD drawings. CDS Plastics can substantially lower your plastic part costs. Often we can update the material technology or redesign a part for improved part performance. We will run single pieces or full production runs.

Production & Distribution

Our typical production runs range from one off prototypes to as many as 20,000 pieces. Typical lead time is 4 weeks, but this depends on the project and we maintain daily contact with customers. When desired, we can ship blanket orders and will stock parks for up to 6 months. We use E2 Shop System by Shoptech for quoting, estimation, scheduling, and shop control.
