CDS Plastics, Inc. specializes in the Plastic CNC Turning Services of all types of plastic including ABS, Lexan, Nylon, Polypropylene, and PVC, for parts up to 12" in diameter. We can produce whatever quantity you require at our full service facility. We can also assist in part design and offer CAD drawing services when needed. We manufacture for a range of applications including food and beverage processing, check valves and fittings, and water filtration, sanitation, and treatment.

CDS Plastics machining is equipped with the latest state of the art CNC machinery. All of our CNC machines run automatically allowing us to offer very competitive prices. We offer Takasawa CNC lathes with auto bar feeders and rod pullers for high speed production plastic machining. We currently have one CNC EX 110- CNC turning center with a 10" chuck capacity and 3" through the spindle bar capacity, two EX 108 CNC turning centers with an 8" chuck capacity and a 2" through the spindle capacity and one CNC Ex 106 turning center with a 6" chuck capacity and a 1.625" through the spindle capacity.

Our CNC machining department is staffed with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to quality. Our customer service staff, programmers, and machinists provide our customers with precision results from highly skilled people. CNC Turning Equipment

CDS Plastics has utilized Takasawa equipment successfully for years. We have found these machines to be precise, fast and dependable.

(1) Takasawa EX110 This large high-speed precision lathe has a chucking capacity of 10" and a spindle clearance of 3". This CNC lathe is married to a high capacity bar feeder for long automatic runs without a manual interface.
(2) Takasawa EX108 These CNC lathes have an 8" chucking capacity and a spindle clearance of 2". We have equipped these machines with bar pullers for automatic material feeding.
(1) Takasawa EX106 This CNC lathe is extremely fast and coupled with a bar puller this machine is perfect for long runs on small parts.

Production & Distribution

Our typical production runs range from one off prototypes to as many as 20,000 pieces. Typical lead time is 4 weeks, but this depends on the project and we maintain daily contact with customers. When desired, we can ship blanket orders and will stock parks for up to 6 months. We use E2 Shop System by Shoptech for quoting, estimation, scheduling, and shop control.

Quality

CDS Plastics machining is dedicated to quality. Every job is inspected throughout the manufacturing process and a final inspection is performed on each order before it can be shipped. Our inspection department is equipped with an optical comparator and all the instrumentation necessary for reliable results. A CoC material certification and inspection report are available upon request.
