| Targeted mainly at the food and beverage industry, CDS Plastics, Inc. both designs and produces many different types of plastic components, such as guides, lugs, product carriers, rail chains, and brackets, which are used to carry product during packaging and cartoning. From our own designs or customer-supplied drawings, using FDA approved materials, we can machine a wide variety of parts in quantities from a single piece all the way up to full scale production runs.
Using nylon, Nyloil®, Delrin® (acetal), Ertalyte® (PET), as well as Ertalyte® TX, our latest technology CNC milling equipment can produce parts measuring from 2.0" to 28.0" long, from 0.5" to 16.0" wide, and in thicknesses from .0375" up to 2.0", while keeping within precise ±.005" tolerances. We have used a variety of finish and color options, and our in process testing and first article inspection ensure consistent, repeatable quality.
